About Suzanne

Suzanne is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with extensive experience treating a range of mental health conditions. She specializes in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, panic, intrusive thoughts, depression, grief, insomnia, infertility, and relationship difficulties. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospital-based acute psychiatric programs, employee assistance programs, and private practice. She strives to create a therapy space that is empathic, compassionate, non-judgmental, and welcoming of people from all backgrounds and identities.

Suzanne’s Approach

Informed by training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Suzanne supports clients as they work to make progress on their goals through evidence-based treatments. She works to enable clients to build upon their existing strengths while increasing their ability to make meaningful changes to self-destructive thinking patterns and behaviors. She utilizes mindfulness and acceptance approaches and tailors the treatment to best meet her client’s needs. She is also trained in CBT-I for treating insomnia. She is passionate about helping individuals become the best version of themselves and experience an improved quality of life. Sessions with Suzanne incorporate a mix of compassion, empathy, and humor. She meets her clients with authenticity and warmth while challenging them to grow.
